Dufaximin 200 mg film – coated tablets 

Each film coated tablet contains rifaximin 200 mg 

Dufaximin is indicated for the treatment of travelers’ diarrhea that is not associated with any of : 

Bloody diarrhea

Dufaximin 200 mg film coated tablet may shorten the duration of diarrhea when this associated with non-invasive stains of E.coli 

Dose 

200 mg every 8 hours for three days (total 9 days) 

There is no or limited data from the use of dufaximin in pregnant woman 

As precautionary measure use of rifaximin during pregnancy is not recommended
